MacBook Pro Update On The Way?

Be interesting to see what they do, I can't see it being big changes or other than I have already mentioned. Mainly because they surely have blown a lot of their r&d budget on the air :D and apple tv.
 
All I wont is the 'penryn' I really hope they get it out in February i'v been waiting three months now :(

This is really tricky now. I really cant afford to wait for the turn around time of sending the one that's coming back for a replacement but on the other hand it's an absolute bitch to have missed out on the upgrade by a matter of weeks.

Decisions decisions.

Hehe yes, yes you did, I cant deny that.

My plan was a good one though, I thought "I'll wait until macworld because they are bound to announce any updates then and there, if they don't announce it at macworld it will probably be june when they do announce it".

I couldn't wait till June but middle of January wasn't a problem.

Now it's all gone **** up. :o :p

I shall never doubt you again though mate. :)

I would join you, but damn, last time I drove in to Birmingham I almost caused a crazy 10 car pileup.. the system sucks :p

Aye...if they have...

1. a 512mb 8700 or 8800 GPU (to run bootcamp games on)
2. those MBA gesture thingys
3. Penryn CPU

....and I am going to have to part with some hard earned cash and begin my journey to the darkside (Macs) with an MBP.

...actually I would begin the journey with a macbook (for surfing and work stuff) if they had a decent speed hard drive available!)
 
The multi-touch trackpad gestures are limited to a few native apps.

Don't expect them to work with Firefox or ProTools right off the bat.
