Macbook Pro

ok here goes another question!! am slowly getting there hehe

on the dock theres icons right... ive manage to delete the download icon off there how do i put that back on? so when i point my cursor over it, it shows the recent files i downloaded. Also is there a way to clear the list so if i point my cursor it wont show?

Using Finder, browse to your user account folder and right click and drag the folder onto the dock to the right of the dashed lines. The same can be done to create 'stacks' with any folder.

Not sure what you mean about clearing the list. A stack is a way of displaying the contents of a commonly accessed folder from the dock.
 
thanks a lot and 1 last question i have.... burning cds.. first of all i take it macbook pro doesnt burn dvds right? also i know i can burn music through itunes however, if i got documents or avi files which program do i burn with? Thanks for the help am getting the hang of macs loving it so far :D

My macbook and iMac burn DVD's so i should hope the MBP does... If you want to buy a program I have Toast and like it, there are some nice free programs though.
 
im hoping they burn dvd's with the video editing i'll be doing when i get mine i will need to burn to dvd

can any1 clarify?

Surely you don't need to ask, look on the apple website at the MBP specs. They all come with a super drive that burns DVD and DL DVD
