Maccapacca stronglifts

there's an addon to the app that gives you warmup sets, if that's what you mean. Otherwise go in steps of 10kg or so and sets of 5/3/1 til you get to your working weight.

Cheers, I've bought the full bifta now.

Deadlifts. If I've deadlifted say 160 before that should be my starting point and warm up to a 1 x only or am I looking for 5 x lighter as the app only say 1 x.

Thanks

I imagine that'll make some pretty deep ruts in the grass in not a great deal of time, especially as winter approaches and the ground gets softer!

Where in Sussex are you by the way dude?

I'll knock up some ply pads if it's that drastic but it is a good point as my grass is a no go area as it gets so boggy in winter. Might have to think up something to spread the weight on the decking.

Oh and near gatwick

If you pay the extra there's a warm up button, tells you what to do. So my next squat is 32.5k and it says 5x 20k, 5 x 20 then the 5×5 set.
Its worth the payment imo.

And love the gheto setup, wish I could.do that, keep giving up mainly as can't be bothered waiting around for the weights.

I wouldn't bother with too many warm up sets when your not lifting too heavy at the moment, you'll spend more energy moving plates around than actually lifting, and the weight you're warming up with won't truly be enough to warm your muscles up only doing 5 or 3 reps.

Weekend off as such however managed 20 to 25k steps wandering round a festival. Last night came home to skipping then stronglifts followed by hour and a half boxing with hill sprints for a nice warm up

No stronglifts tonight just 15 minutes cycle to gym then hour pt with the last 20 minutes boxing then cycle home.

Notable achievement 2 minute plank with side planks all properly with no collapsing in a heap
