Thought I'd post some shots from my trips to Wales over the last 6 months or so, I've been going for a year now and enjoy every minute of it (well maybe not sitting round for hours in the cold), I may have posted these somewhere here before but for the life of me I can't find them, so here are some of my personal favourites, sorry about the odd sizes, only recently started uploading at 1024. Can't wait to get back up there next month!

Love the Tornados and the Harrier (sad that they will not be flying anymore). Great set of shots, I've really got to get up there one day!

You should! Great fun when you get a good day, luckily I've not had too many bad days and something comes through, although not enjoyable freezing at -10c in December, I'm going again next month so I hope its t-shirt and shorts weather :)

Thanks again everyone :)

Brilliant work... what lens you use for all of these?

Yep as DB_SamX said I use a Nikon 300mm f/4 AF-S lens which I got last October, it's honestly a great value lens, even when that value is nigh on £1k. I first started out with a Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro lens, which was OK but looking back at those shots I took with it they aren't anywhere near as sharp as the Nikon lens. I also have a 1.4 teleconverter I use at times for extra reach.
Also noticed a big difference moving to a D300s in focus speed and fps over my D90. Unfortunately with these aircraft shots you really need fast kit to do them justice, although you can get away with lower end stuff to start out and I've seen great results but you have to work harder for them.

I geotag my photos if anyone ever wants to make a trip to Wales :)
