Machete Kills

Yeah Im the same, Machete just isnt in the same league as something like Shoot Em Up if its attempting to be pastiche...

well that's bloody annoying. i've just checked my local cinema listings and they're showing it tomorrow and saturday night at 10.30pm - and that's it. no other screenings at all. i don't know if i can be bothered to go out that late. i'm more of a lunch time cinema goer. :p

Yeah my local (Cineworld MK) is dropping it tonight, my mate who loved the first wasnt that overly impressed with the sequel - dno if Ill go out of my way to watch it, think its prime DVD fodder though...

I've got to agree in somewhat with Idleman has said though.

I was really excited for the first film as the red brand trailer was brilliant and it looked like a lot of fun. The reality though was it actually wasn't quite as fun as I'd thought it would be, not to mention all the set pieces were in the trailer already.

Its a bit like The Expendables film, that promised so much by having all those 80s action stars together, but the reality was that it didn't really live up to that.

If you watched the first one, can`t believe anybody would want to watch a sequel.
Just another moronic film, hack and slash and no real story.
But then each to their own.

LOL.

Yet it's still better than most massive budget films that SHOULD have a good story, but end up being crap.

I'll take a Rodriguez movie with no story or dialogue over some over-hyped mega budget movie that 9 times out of 10 will disappoint.
