Machine to decipher dolphin language.

So basically these scientists have been watching one too many re-runs of Seaquest DSV right?

Now when this is actually made and we have deciphered the whole dolphin language what implication do you think it will have on animal rights, not only that but in life in general? I honestly think something like this will have a huge impact on the way we treat animals and you never know, maybe Dolphins have greater knowledge and understanding then we do about the way the world works.

How could Dolphins possibly have a greater knowledge of the world when they don't even have technology...

The article was posted over 2 years ago, doesn't look like it amounted to anything.

Quote:
In certain dolphin species, namely Bottlenose, female vaginal tracts secrete an organic chemical while mating that allow a male to orgasm for as long as the penis remains within the vaginal tract, resulting in multiple continuous ejaculations. This is speculated to increase chances of fertilization for each act of reproduction. It has been tested and proven in controlled environments that this same organic chemical produces identical effects in similar dolphin species, and in mammals with less than sufficient genetic disparity, including primate and primate families.

Is it wrong that I'm now interested in having sex with a dolphin?

I already posted that and i'm tempted to say no ;)

Probably one of the most stupidest statements ever.

They can balance a ball on their nose, they can probably recognise themselves in a mirror, they can gang rape and gang kill, they can be taught to carry a mine under a ship and commit Hari Kiri - that's about it.

Perhaps they figured it all out, and came upon a realisation that it all really doesn't matter.

And that in fact, ball balancing and small time TV parts is where it's at.

Btw, they aren't the only animal to have forceful animal instincts, or to kill.

Remember the monkey raping the frogs face for the amusement of all? :p

Years of testing just some guy could stick it in the dolphins in the name of science....oh look now he wants a go.

I thought this guy already accomplished this ages ago?

Groups of young male dolphins have also been known to hunt in gangs and rape humans. :\

There were some tests done on dummies left in the sea and they were found buggered to death in underwater caves!

Their *ahem* has been compared to an elephant's trunk.
