Machine which sent email

Hi All,

I have an email which needs tracing, I need to find out which computer it was sent from.

The system runs with Exchange 2003, do we have any experts?

Does it give the internal or external IP in the header?

Does it give the internal or external IP in the header?

Its internal mail so it doesnt give ip addresses in the internet header, at least in the traditional method for veiwing it (message options)

any other way to find out?

Not entirely sure to be honest with you as I've not had to find exactly which computer it was sent from before, do you have message tracking setup within exchange?

Yeah message tracking is enabled as far as I know.

Any other ideas on how to track this message?
