MacOSX hash symbol?

My G5 perspex keyboard is most likely different from yours, but to type #, it's just the shifted function of the number 3.

I take it it is the # symbol you want, right?

EDIT: For you it'll be option (alt) and 3. I hope that solves it.

Yeah, i just checked.. its option+3 :D

I wanted to know this as it goes.. well done for asking! lol
 
If you ever find yourself needing a special character then you can load up the keyboard viewer (i think this might be Tiger 10.4 only). See here for a more involved description on how to get it, but basically holding down alt or alt+shift will change the outputed charcters on pretty much the entire keyboard (all alphanumerics) and gives you a lot of options.

the only thing I've not got working just yet is my canon i965 printer thats connected to a linksys wps54g print server. although it prints lovely to my hp1022n in the office. think its due to a lack of a cups driver for that printer.
