Hi all

I have spaces enabled on my mac book pro OSX 10.6.4 and I usually enable it by going to the top right of my screen but when I do it I just get a black screen.

It also doesn't actually seem to be 'there' as if I click where screen 4 would be it doesn't actually change the space.

I can change by enableing the menubar or using CTRL+arrows.

Anyone got any ideas?

Check your Expose settings - has the allocation to the top right changed? For example on min it's set to show applications:

if there's no applications running then it just makes the screen go dark? What happens when you hit F8?

Strange. No it was all setup properly.

I rebooted and it's back working again now. .. Had my mac since the MBP refresh and this is the first 'issue' I've had... oh well

Also -- Just the other day I noticed the power cable can be inserted both ways and therefore have the wire running beside the comp instead of sticking out the back .. :o

Sounds like it was switching off the screen which is one of the options you can have for expose...

ps3ud0
