When it comes to macro on my Lumix FZ7, I get a little frustrated. I can get the the camera nice and close keeping at widest angle, however, sometimes I can not get close to a subject, and need to use the zoom.
The problem is I need to be so far away from the subject to use the zoom because it can not focus, that it becomes pointless.
So I have been considering either a 2x tele converter, or some macro filters, but I am not completely sure on the application of the macro lenses/filters.
Would they allow me to zoom in more on a subject at bit of a distance? For example, if I need to be 1 meter away from a subject to allow me to use 3x zoom and still maintain focus, will they allow me to go to 8x zoom (or something) at the same distance?
