The demo is quite good i have to admit, i still got the madden 06 sitting somewhere but this is one game ive been looking forward to. At least i can play against my bro in Canada and spank his sorry arse into oblivion:p.

I didnt like the demo, just not much seemed to have moved forward from 06, nice presentation though.

Thats because its a DEMO!!!!;), its missing most of its main features although being able to control the lead blocker while running is pretty awesome.

So far ive managed to beat the computer once, seems to have this habit that it lets the clock play right down to the last sec before playing the ball lol:p...cost me 3 games the stupid game:p

Gamestation typically offer a few pounds more.

At game probably about £20ish i would imagine.

Which reminds me i have about £90 worth of credit on my game card...should really buy a few games with it...
 
Looking foward to this!

I come home to the first game of the NFL season after seeing The Klaxons live on the Thursday night. After pulling an all nighter it's off to the shops to get my copy of Madden.

I'm not to fussed about a few missing features (unlike madden 06) as I mostly play it with my mates and don't tend to dive too deep into the Carrer modes.

As long as we can finally play a decent game of gridiron online and off i'm happy.
 
I wont be buying this. The fact that they still haven't bothered to put the Defensive Playmaker back in is just an insult. Not being able to audible individual players just makes playing D too hair-rippingly frustrating.

When I played '05 on the Xbox, half the fun of defending was always using a basic 4-3 cover-2 formation, and creating custom blitz's and coverages on the fly, depending on how the O lined up.
 
been playing this on the PC and can say its an improvement on the 06....

i like the lead blocker addition.... :cool:

will be playing a lot more of it this week to get me right in the mood for Thursday night....

and then more NCAA football on saturday followed by NFL Sunday....what a week.... :D

Just a quick bump but got my copy this morning, was quite surprised as i wasnt expecting it to come out at least for another week or so.

Havent had a chance to play on it yet as i was on my way out to work when the postie dropped it and TDU off.

Me too I shall be VERY bleary eye'd at work tomorrow & then much the same on Monday...Best 21 weeks of the year start tonight :D
