Madden 08 on PS3

I bought this today as I used to love the Madden games but having read some reviews have noticed that there are problems with the framerate, stuttering and an excessive amount of fumbles.

Anyone bought it and currently playing on the PS3 and if so should I unwrap it or go get a different game?

Not 100% sure but I think there might be a demo on the US PSN.

Might be worth having a look there first mate...
 
I believe it's a common fault with the PS3 version. I remember reading that the PS3 was struggling to play it at a playable framerate, so they tried to keep it at 30fps.

I seriously wonder whats going on with some of these games, we have all seen what the PS3 is capable of - Just look at say Ninja Gaiden or the new R&C Demo, they look amazing, full of detail and run silky smooth.

But then others have slow down complaints.

Is it just because they are dodgy 360 ports or what?
 
Basically the same game as the 360 I think..
So on about the fumbels. They are not that bad. Just learn to cover up the ball more. They arnt supermen in the NFL. Just adjust the sliders accordingly if your that botherd about any of the ai gameplay.
 
No demo on the US PSN as yet. Downloading NHL 08 as I might exchange if for that tomorrow if I don't open it tonight when drunk. :)
