So i had 16GB of corsair vengeance LPX DDR4 300Mhz ram that i installed,But my dad also got me the exact same kit, So i have 16GB of extra ram sitting here.
I tried to install it but i get "no display" on my monitor when i do so, I have since learned that you should not combine memory and i really should have bought a 32GB kit instead.
Is there anything i can try so i can get my full 32GB of ram to work ?

When i fitted the 16GB of ram i enabled XMP in the bios , Could disabling XMP and retrying to fit the extra ram help with the "No Display" issue ?

I would ideally like to have the full 32GB working if at all possible.

So any suggestions on what i can try, The RAM is identical brand and type,Being a noob i thought it would just work.
My board is a Z270F Asus motherboard and i have a I7-7700k CPU running Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Yes, disable XMP and set the ram manually at 2400 and build up from there. Also have you also tested each per of sticks to confirm they are working?
