Is there any need to publish his name and face? The guy is quite probably innocent but some vigilante nutters don't care.

Yep a female 'Mirror' journalist reported him too the local police as she said he was showing way too much interest in the case and swanning around as if he was part of the investigation team.

Fair enough report this as it 'could' be dodgy, however publishing his name and photos is bang out of order as he and his mum could just as easily turn out to be genuine people legitimately concerned and helping.

I think it's just Sky News taking a gamble on them being able to claim "We exposed the killer first". However seems like a very long punt to me

Totally agree with your comments. Whether, he acted suspiciously or not he is innocent until proven otherwise. His name should not have been published IMO.

If this guy is innocent (which he is at the moment) then I hope Murdoch's gutter press has to pay out big time.

They have no right to publish his name until he is charged.

Yes, but SKY have named him as being questioned by police. the BBC have not.

He has only been named as an occupant by the BBC.
