I just got mafia 2 and while in one of the scenes when your been driven around after you get back from the war my health went really low so that the screen is black and white and you can hear the heartbeat. But now the health will not regenerate and is stuck at this level even when I die and restart the level, any ideas?

i only got it to test the game out before buying as most of the members on here have mentioned about the extremely short story and the fact that it may not be worth £30

the fact that ive spent over £400 on steam backs me up that i am not a pirate
and how many £ on pirated games? Just £30?
None if youd read above i dl to try as there seems to be a lack of demo's now and if i like them i either buy from steam or play

That statement makes no sense.
Personally I don't care who has pirated what - If it is indeed true that the crack is causing this problem, then buy the game.
It wasn't even £30 at release if you bought it off the internet.
I think the fact that you're playing a pirated game shows that you don't mind pirating games.
Buying them after is a usual justification, doesn't mean you always do, and doesn't mean we have to believe you. I'm sure you don't care, but you're still a pirate.
If you want to play a game, buy it. The developers have to pay people to make them, they can't just get coders in on the promise of paying them maybe when they're done and if it suits them.
Ok so its the crack that is causing the error but, i dont want to go out and spend £20+ on a game i may not like hence i try then buy if i like.
either buy the full game or delete it

What rubbish you were 'just trying it out'. As if you would buy it after you 'tried it out' and completed it.

Why not wait a few months until it goes down in price if your not 100% sure its worth its current asking price? Anyways no doubt you have some Robinhood justification.

It's their game they can market it as they see fit. They didn't even have to provide a demo in the first place. If you want to find out about a game theres plenty of press coverage on the subject.
the lack of demo's at the moment is my point and press covergaee of a game is someone elses opinion and is totaly different to actually having first hand experiance. i dled mass effeet one a few weeks ago tried it and have just purchased 1 and 2 from steam as i liked it.
