True the second wasn't as good, but IMO Mafia is one of the best games of all time so it had a lot to live up to.

The first one is one of my favourite ever games. I really enjoyed the 2nd one too but it doesn't compare in quality to the first.

Awesome... loved Mafia II. DLC was a bit noddy though

Hoping the first Mafia will be released on Steam/gog etc.. as I never finished it as my PS2 broke

Mafia on PC was brilliant, best game I have ever played on pc, I played mafia 2 on ps3, it was good but nowhere as good as the first.
hopefully this will be great, can't wait!

I loved both of them, I can't wait for 3.

I'd probably play Mafia 2 again if it gets added to Xbox One backwards comaptibility.

Wasn't Mafia ii a ps+ title at one point? I've never played either of the first two games. Didn't realise they were so well received...

Yeah I played it (II) again on the PS3 via PS+. Played it first on the 360. Good characters, good voice acting and a decent story. Great game. The driving is tricky especially in snow but when you get the hang of it it drives better than even GTA.

Mafia was amazing at the time on PC.

played mafia 2 on pc and really enjoyed it, never played mafia1 but I cant wait for this as I have always wanted this to happen so yipeeeeeee

Finally! The Mafia series is my second favourite gaming series so I'm very excited for this. I might have to have a replay of 1 and 2...

I hope this is like FO4 and they're releasing it in the autumn.

The PC version is much better than the PS3 version in terms of graphics, levels of details and 60fps frame rate. It really transforms the game over the console versions.

(Also, the PC version of Mafia 1 is far, far superior to the PS2 version if anyone hasn't played that either)

I recently played Mafia 2 after it was on playstation plus. Very underrated game. Really enjoyed it. Platinum would be quite achievable if I could every be bothered to play through again on hard.

I really loved the first Mafia but found the second to be a bit disappointing. Hopefully the third kicks the series back into gear.
