Mafia 3

Anyone got quite far in this game.

Is it best to evenly distribute territory you gain to keep all bosses happy?

Also does the mission variety get better, I've only just got my home turf back under control and now moving onto a few new areas that have opened up. Seems really samey so far after the fairly decent start.

It all the same kind of thing in truth taking rackets and assigning districts but I enjoy the story that comes with each ones.

I have distributed mine evenly as it seems you can cause conflict I dont know if this has been written into the story or what.

I maxed Vito's first as I felt the benefits from his progression tree were the most beneficial, IE; max health etc.

Burke seems like a douchebag, IRA lover, who constantly whinges so he's gotten sod all ;) Plus his benefits mainly seem to be around avoiding the Police, who aren't particularly difficult to avoid.

Hmm... have been playing for a couple of hours and I feel a little let down.

The open world doesn't feel all that convincing or alive.

Hand combat is rubbish - press punch and you slap someone in the neck... and they die?!

Graphical glitches are everywhere! Strange lighting issues especially on vehicles, lots of pop up vegetation which pops up literally 15 metres in front. Rear view mirror draw distance and detail are a joke.

The story does seem very good and the level of detail on the characters during the cutscenes have to be the best I've seen on the PS4. But am just underwhelmed, regret getting it so soon and paying full price.

Thanks, I may do the same then as I like Vito.

Same, I will never learn.

Im still enjoying it to a degree and feel I need to complete it to get my money's worth. Hopefully I can get it completed soon and trade it in for a good price still.

Bought into this early as well. Same thoughts as everyone else. Story seems good but the game could do with a polish.

Will plough through and sell on while it's still worth something.

Not feeling it. Had 2 hours on it and i just cant be arsed to suss the game out with the controls etc.

Think its more me than the game. Games just bore me to death these days.

Not just you. This is boring me to death...absolutely dull as dishwater and im a few hours in. Yes it needs a bit if polish here and there and i can forgive that but the awful gameplay is killing this for me

Some of the graphics on this game look great, cut scenes and driving in the night whilst raining is awesome. Other times though and it looks dross.

The shooting is very satisfying, especially when you get your hands on the silenced pistol.

I think the shooting mechanics are spot on. It feels great.

Alright game so far, but the story just gets a bit boring at times. I'm fed up of wiping out place after place. This is where GTA wins every time with the variety of missions.

This game is starting to bore me, go here shoot up a load of useless enemies, report back, go to another location shoot it up and repeat.

I cant see it getting any better, Ive got as far as Burke. Its all so repetitive.

Maybe Im just bored of gaming currently but there just seems to be so many games that should be good but are not.

How can it be so hard to give a bit of mission variety in this.

Seems lazy and rushed to me.

It definitely gets better when you get past getting the 3 associates on board imo.

Does the missions get better?

What gets me is when taking over a building, when you first go there to kill or interrogate an informant, you then report back and then the same place you just went and shot up you have to go back because the boss has shown up, its like doing the same thing twice.
