As the title says really - I'm currently using a wireless mighty mouse with my mac mini. Just wondering if this mouse is a vast improvment or to just stick with my old mighty :-)

I find it a big improvement, your mileage may vary depending on how big your hands are etc, try one in store if you can, you should know fairly quickly if you'll get on with it I think...

The mouse is very Marmite to be honest. I like it, though I know a lot of people don't.

I've got a couple of reviews on my blog. To sum up, we both liked it.

Lift left finger up to right click = m-m-m-monster fail.

I still can't get my head around why that's an issue for some people. I'm starting to think I've always been using mice different to everyone else. I don't have any fingers resting on the surface unless I'm clicking something.

I thought you could configure the top right/left corner as a click.

As the mouse supports physical clicks it shouldn't need you to remove the left finger

Will test when I get mine. That said I just right-clicked my mouse here and it seems I do it anyway ha!

It's a physical click, but the thing uses touch to know which finger us being used. If a finger is already touching the left half, it assumes you want a left click, whether you use the right side too or not.

I like the touch aspect but find the mouse a little small and the tracking was very slow - had to use a hack to fix.

I've now had a chance to try it and I don't like it. I like the way it works with the scrolling but the mouse itself is totally the wrong size for me. I like a mouse to be a decent size and it's just too small.

I like it being small, as I have child-like baby hands :) All the logitechs are too big :(

I like the touch part of the mouse but the mouse itself isn't a very nice thing to handle. I like a mouse that you can grab and that fills your hand a bit, not something that feels like a flat block, i just dont find it comfortable compared to mice from logitech for example.

I also have small hands but most of my palm was dragging on the table trying to use this thing. The momentum scrolling is very intuitive but the swipes are awful. Tried it several times in the Apple store and it didn't even pick up all the swipes I was doing.

I was shocked to find they are stilling doing this left finger off to do a right click, unbelieveably unnatural, at least for me.

It's perfectly natural for me, but like I say, it seems to annoy a lot of people. Just shows we all use mice in different ways!

Ruh-roh, I have large hands.

Impending thread where I smash up the mouse in 3..2....
