Magimix Kettle / Toaster - anyone use them?

We got a Dualit 2 slot at work and i hate it.. the dial to choose time is rubbish and always burns toast, if you get it out early there's no way to turn it off. I never find it toasts evenly either. my £10 one from asda is easily better. bread in, lever down, toast is always the same.. no need to judge time and have to keep checking it!

rant over..

If you are worried about build quality I'd reccomend something from where I work (Lakeland) if you can find anything you like. The store provides an unlimited warrenty on all products and you can return for any reason at any time, used or not and get cash back so long as you have the reciept (credit note if not).

Admittedly they don't have a massive range of "high end" toasters, but we did used to stock the Tefal Toast and Egg! Sold like a dog and got reduced multiple times.

Sounds like a spammy ad post, sorry :p

Ok so I will go buy a tesco value kettle made of plastic, feels cheap, silver ABS plastic to give a look of stainless steel, flimsey on/off switch....must I go on?

Why buy a BMW when you can buy a FIAT?

I like nice things, people go out and splash £50-£70 on a night out, some may say that is a waste, people dont mind paying for a cpu that no one ever sees for double/tripple what the kettle would cost.

There is a middle ground. However it's your money. I'd spend £40 on each and the rest on beer.

not too sure on their other appliances, but I have a Magimix Espresso machine, and it's a great machine compared to others in the £150 range.
