If so, yes it will. It will be limited to SATAII speeds, but will still be faster than a normal drive and still worth getting, and if you get a SATAIII motherboard in the future you can then use its full potential.

It will, your board has SATAII ports so it will max out at 300MB/sec

Normally its wise to enable AHCI in the BIOS for a SSD, but the age of the board means I doubt this option is available in the BIOS to you.

Remember to ensure disk defrag is also disabled for the SSD as this kills them faster.

The Samsung F4 is faster, I know of one guy on here who has posted benchmark results and it was faster than his other 2TB drives.

Its also now £8 cheaper than the WD.

Stulid also this board has only 2 x SATA 6Gb/s can you recommend better board with more SATA 6Gb/s for future option as i can spend more money this time for this build and this PC need to be for min 4 years with no upgrade.

Yep, the faster card slows down to the speed of the other, if your existing card looks the same as that Sapphire then maybe you do want it to look "the same" if viewed through a window.
