Ok I have basically just installed some uv lights into my computer and then moved my seagate hdd to another slot in my computer. While doing this i had to disconnect the molex cable going into my DFI motherboard.

So I reconnect everything and start it up, it says boot failure and wont boot. I check the connections and see that the power to my Raptor hdd is loose and amend that and restart again and same thing happens.

I have the boot sequance to hdd then cdrom. On boot up it sees both the Raptor and seagate in bios so np there. It then goes on and has 2 things come up saying boot from CD and then goes and say Nvidia boot agent and then says MAC address which is all zeros and then it has this DHCP and a sysmbol rotating next to it as though its searching for something. After awhile it says System failure insert boot disk and press enter.

So i restart the computer and put my Win XP disk in and change the boot sequance to CD then HDD. So when it says press any key to boot from cd i do and hey presto it boots into Win XP and all my programs are there, everything is correct it lets me see my Raptor and Seagate HDD in windows explorer and in disk management.

So what in hell has happened?? Has something changed in the BIOS? I am at a loss as to why it won't boot properly??

Thanks for any help you have.
