An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk3\D during a paging operation.

After several warning messages like that in event viewer every two minutes or so the system freezes for 30 seconds and event viewer reports the error:

The device, \Device\Scsi\SI3112r1, did not respond within the timeout period.

I ran chkdsk which found no errors. Have a ton of data on this drive which is quite a few months old, what do I do?

I'm no expert on this but I'd think your drive is on its way out, I'd suggest a backup and probably to RMA the drive. You could possibly try changing the drive to a different SATA port just in case that is part of the issue.

I think you're right on the second part, after hours of testing I found that the drive seems fine when it's on the other port (I use enclosures and hot-swap) I tried combinations of different drives in different bays and everything works fine aside from that drive in that bay - bizzare.
