Major WoW problem

Hey guys thanks for the reponses! Thanks for the anti wow responses, You made me laugh!

I could try different games but at the end of the day my friend is only really going to be playing wow on this machine so if it doesnt work for wow its useless. I know it will see if its just wow related or not so i will give a couple of games a try and see.

Tonight im going to take the graphics card out of my pc and put it into my friends and see if its ok then. I have a feeling that it will work once i put in my card.

I will try out the 182.50 drivers Gog suggested aswell.

Whats the normal warrenty on xfx cards? Because its more than a year old so its out of the 1 year warrenty now.

If its out of warrenty would taking it apart and redo the thermal paste on all the chips help atall?

XFX are pretty good, i think they do a 10 year Warranty on most of their gear. You will need to find proof of purcahse though (might be on the side of the box?). If not, give them a call and try and blag it, they're very nice up there at XFX Towers.

Well done on the WoW Trolling guys, really original talking about it like a drug addiction. I dont think we've ever seen those jokes before, and i totally didn't expect to see them when i clicked on this WoW related thread. They're hilarious, too. Really funny. Please, keep it up.

You should try
Closing Wow.
Installing the latest nvidia driver.
Delete the Wow/Interface/Addons folder
Delete the Wow/Cache folder.
Delete the Wow/wtf/config.wtf file.
Start Wow, set the video settings to your choosing then log in.

If you do this and still have problems then it's very likely a broken card or a driver issue.
