The dvd drive on my wife's macbook pro is completely borked and ejects any disc put in it without reading.
We have the full set of Civilization 4 games for Mac, but obviously she can't play them at the moment, (which is an issue as she is hogging my pc)!).
These are pre-steam games, and the only way of running them is with the disc in the drive. I was wondering if it would be possible to make an iso of the discs on my pc which I could then transfer to her Mac. I presume there is some form of copy protection on the discs.
Ideally I would like to be able to use a free programme for this as otherwise I might as well rebuy the games on steam.
