Making a BBC complaint?

I made a complaint last night via the BBC's site and received the automated reply but haven't heard anything back yet, has anyone here made a complaint before? whats the normal turnaround time? The basic reason for the complaint was one of their game shows cheated the contestants out of £70k because they gave the right answer but the BBC had the wrong answer on file.

What was the question/answer?
 
I made a complaint years ago about the quality of subtitles on a pre-recorded program and it took them months to get back to me.

They called me up in the end and asked if I wanted to record my comment out for one of those points of view programs. Quite surprising they bothered given that my comment was along the lines of "drunk dyslexic panda without fingers could have done better". :o
 
I'm not surprised that you haven't received anything other than an automated response when you put in the complaint on a Saturday evening and it is still only Sunday. I wouldn't expect anyone to even look at it until Monday at the earliest and then they'd probably have to refer it to the production team for the show in question to look into before you get a response.
 
did you read the bit it asked you to read before choosing "yes, I've read the bit you want me to read before I choose yes"? ;)
They state it can take around two weeks to get back to you.

I actually feel like complaining about the complaints section, it's a terrible mess.
 
what do i care what the question/answers are?

hell i might complain too, hate the beeb, especialy the garbage sound dept, anything they do sound wise is a **** up
