Now then, I know the good folks on here get all hot and sweaty when they see M badges on the back of BMWs which are not M related and frankly I tend to agree.

However, I have just bought nearly everything of interest off a Subaru P1 apart from the oily bits. Parts include P1 Alloys, P1 Prodrive interior, Prodrive Alcon brakes and P1 rear spoiler.

My question is regarding the spoiler. I'm not about to suggest my car has anything to do with Prodrive and am certainly not going to pretend that my car is one of the fabled 4 door P1s Prodrive used as test mules.

It doesn't bother me, but should I have the P1 emblem on the wing uprights filled in and painted?

personaly i would..

but its totaly upto you :p

its not as if you have went out and bought the badge..

the spoiler just happens to have the badge on it.

should look spot on tho mate..

we will need pics ;)

Going to the effort of making your car not look like you're trying to make it look like something it isn't is a bit OTT :p.

Unless you haven't got a single thing which you'd rather spend your time/money on, I'd leave it.

I would say remove the P.
But im not sure because i cant see what you see, so please post some pics up

This is the P1 emblem. The reason I bought the wing is because its very rare and has a nice bit of carbon fibre along the tip. I know its not to everyones tastes but I like it.

Scoobs arnt Scoobs without the big wing imo :)
You would be hardly able to see it anyway so I would just leave it and use the money on something else :)
How much did all those parts cost you? Were they new or used?

Personally I have much less of an issue with modified Subaru's than I do with modified BMW's - I can't explain why but Subaru's seem fine or even improved with mods, most modified BMW's just look cack, especially if their a junior model dressed up as the real deal.

is it going to be painted anyway? If so, then you might as well, if not then it seems like a lot of effortm i'd leave it. Its not like average joe even knows whata P1 is anyway.

All the parts are from a written off P1. I had only intended to get the seats and spoiler but the breakers offered me the wheels and the brakes for a total of £1200 inc delivery. If I sell the relevent parts on my car I should get about £1000 so all the above shouldn't cost more than £200. All the fitting I can do myself.

As far as I know, everything is in good condition and just needs a clean up. The brakes I can get reconditioned if they need it and bolt them straight on. My only concern is that the impact damage looks very close to the nearside front wheel so I'm hoping it hasn't taken a knock.

I would leave it to be honest! Wouldnt bother me...and if you ever wanted to get rid of it, it still has all the orig markings on it.

RAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR

Did someone say something about a 316 with M3 badges!!!!!!!1111!!!eleventyone

grrrrr

:p

Seriously leave them mate they are molded onto the part its not like your sticking badges on the back, you don't want to mess up a rare part either.

Just as long as you don't have the godawful front bumper/spoiler. The front of the P1 mings :o

The only thing i dont like about that bumper is the tiny little lights.
I like those ones to be big like normal :)

The P1 is Impreza perfection as far as styling goes, even above the P1.

Sorry, IN MY OPINION ;)

It's going to look great.

IN MY OPINION.
