making a IMG file

Just woundered ( I use Nero), I have burnt .IMG (IMAGE) files onto cd's / dvd's before, and all worked fine,
but just wondered how you actually make an image file, from a load of mixed files, is there a way and does what i am trying to put accross make any sense ?

Do you mean an ISO?

There is loads of software availble for use here.

I use ISO Recorder.

It lets you build up the Image files from any file you want, then create a CD or bootable cd with those files in.

Hope thats kind of what you were looking for.

When you enter a post, the icons at the top (B, I, U, etc), 6th one along lets you insert the link and the first window that appears allows you to type what you want first then paste the link.
