Right, Ive seen those beer making kits in Morrisons so what I want to know is if anyone has tried them, or any other products to make beer?
Is it worth it and will it actually taste any good.

My dad used to do home brew as well as wine making. He liked it :)

Takes a while to get it as you like it I think, but its certainly cheaper than buying it, and you're making it yourself!

It has a really rich, sweet smell when it is brewing as well. I like it :)

Not actually done it for years (or made beer) :p but if you like real ale and are prepered to put a little effort in, it is a cheap way of having decent beer at home.

I made some of the cider kits and some of the lager ones a while ago. It's drinkable but it seemed to taste of yeast and chemicals more than anything. The main pain was sterilising everything.

I did try making cider with apples from my garden using some old recipes. That was really good but I think I may have gone blind if I'd kept drinking it :)

avoid anything from morrisons tbh. :p

Yes... and it was good!

And then it wasn't and I was ill...

And then it was very good...

And then I made a home made still and nearly killed myself

It is really good and works out pennies per pint... just make sure you keep everything really really clean and follow the instructions instead of thinking that you can make it stronger if you put more sugar in!

Would also recommend getting a decent barrel with a tap on the bottom.

To be fair their bakery/pastries/pie section is like no other! Thinking about it makes me hungry for some steak and kidney pies with some cheese and onion pasties! :D
never used it tbh. i always go to greggs for that kind off stuff, since it's only over the road.

i'm slightly worried by the amount of "product recalls" morrisons seem to have though...
