I'm looking at generating a bit of income so I can afford to move out of home and various other things.

I've decided 2007 is going to be the year I make some money, and preferably using the internet in some way to get myself a business set up.

In the meantime, I've been looking at various things, like affiliates programs with the river store, and selling loads of e-books on ebay etc.

Does anyone have any experience/ideas in doing this?

The easiest way is with a solid, content-led site that generates large traffic.

If you keep bandwidth low and traffic high, ££££.

I'd link a couple of 'pies' ( ;) ) that I have a finger in...But I'd get banned.

Exactly what scaramanga182 said above. It can be done, but who in their right mind will be sharing tips as that will potentially be taking money away from themselves or at least adding extra competition.

Problem with the methods you have mentioned is that they are extremely saturated therefore it will be difficult for you to make much at all.

It can be done and while I didn't make a career out of it, certainly helped me along through Uni etc.

I'm not about making a 'mint' but just get things going to I have a small income to set myself up something larger with. I know you've hinted at stuff before penski, If you'd like to help me out with some advice then can I add you to msn?

on a serious note, if anybody has set up a shop online before, please could you email me or add me on msn (both address are blighter @ blighter.net) and give me a few pointers, would be greatly appreciated!
