hi guys,

what is the best way of taking a sound (in my case of a bike engine) and making the rev sound loopable? if i cut it down as much as i try there is still a noticable loop point which is not very professinal... is there any software that can modift the sound to make it loopable? maybe by overlaying and blending and the like?

cheers :)

I use an early version of CoolEdit .It only works on .wav files but it's no big deal , just convert them afterwards .With CoolEdit I can import a sound and edit it or copy & paste it to make one long background sound . You can zoom in to a particular part of the sound and copy it and place it anywhere in the original . You can add echo , silence , increase volume , decrease volume ,fade in & out and a number of things .I use this program a lot when doing my backgrounds for DVD's .
