I genuinly don't understand Bernie's drive to have races that start at 1pm UK time. Its the most inconvenient time on a Sunday ever, especially during summer.

8 or 9am? Great! 6pm? Brilliant! 1pm, right smack bang in the middle of the day when you could be off out having fun? Flipping annoying!

As a student, 1pm is great because its right at the start of my day :p

actaully 6pm on a Sunday is pretty awkward , harder to have a few beers during the race and still be fresh for Monday morning :D

Doesn't look as good as the launch nose - looks more inline with other car's noses now :(

But if it adds performance gain I'm happy! :D
 
Quite a bit higher nose and thinner longer dong on the McLaren going by the pictures. Improving the airflow of the car.
 
Raised it significantly, squared off nostrils, made it much more dong looking.

Meh, I thought it looked bad before, but they managed to make it like every other dong nose.

Will certainly be interesting to see if Merc/Ferrari adopt a similar nose at some stage.

Out of all the 'dong' teams, Williams looks the best and I thought McLaren was second best as neither looked like they made a car and stuck an Ann Summers Special to the front. Shame the McLaren has now changed :(

No, an fugly winning car is like looking at an fugly woman with beer goggles. You stop seeing the fugly but doesn't change the reality that fugly is fugly and you will look back at it and think 'oh dear god! how did I think that was ever beautiful'
 
Thanks for the side by side comparison. It is quite a drastic change. McLaren are saying they expect to be 5 tenths faster per lap at this race so we'll have to see.

Me neither.

Whether it be MotoGP or F1 I prefer to watch it around 6pm on Sunday evening.

You also don't clash with football matches then either the 13:30 kick off or the 16:00.
