rb could have a Honda engine in two years time. But I still think they will have problems with what ever engine they have.

Surely McLaren have an exclusivity agreement in regards to 1st tier teams (obviously the manufacturer can delay updates etc but Im sure there must be something in the agreement that says Honda are not able to supply RBR /Merc/ Ferrari at the very least for several years - not that they would supply the latter two anyway but you get the gist)

Unless Rosberg or LH do something massively wrong I cant see why the team would want the agro of having Vettel - and would Vettel agree to go anywhere where he wouldnt automatically get No 1 status?

Of course from a corporate point of view it would be an all German team (if LH left), but its still based in England with a lot of English staff so not sure how much that really washes lol

Vettel will either finish his career at RB or join Ferrari in a couple of years time if they start producing a competitive car.
 
I think any team would jump at the chance of having a four-times WDC/WCC champion in their garage.

Ferrari must hold an allure for any driver, especially if Vettel wants to follow in Schumacher's footsteps. However, It would be a big leap for him to move there at the moment considering how far off the pace they've been for so long.

I can't see him wanting to do an Alonso and go without the chance of a title for eight years…
 
watching Benedict i was trying to work out whats the most important pass you can get?
It looks like there is a green VIP lanyard with a gold pass.
Also some of the crew have a yellow/black/red lanyard saying GRID.

Lewis was way faster and with his engine turned down, and he used less fuel :)

He was also being cushioned by his team mate and was running in clean (non turbulent and dirty air.)
 
Presumably Mercedes and other suppliers supply sealed units to their customer, and only Mercedes employees are able to work them.

That's how it works in MotoGP. I doubt Mercedes would be daft enough to just say here you go here's your engine now do whatever you want.

I'm guessing HPP stands for Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains.
