Depends on the virus. Either way it works out cheaper for them to pay us to reimage a machine than to clean it. Why spend an hour or more messing around and hoping that you'll end up with a fully functioning machine when you can be up and running with a fresh build in half an hour? Get a lot of these claiming to be from various couriers.

DHL even have a warning about it on their site - http://www.dhl.co.uk/en/express/resource_centre/fraud_alert/virus_alert.html

Email comes attached with a .zip, which no doubt contains some sort of nasty. Just a heads up.

DHL would never send nasties, its probably free games you can link to your steam account, Hurray I just checked my email and have free goodies awaiting.

Our mass mailing system reply-to inbox has been getting shed loads of this email for the last week or so.

We've also had lots of offers for 'Ru girls'.

We had an offshore laptop come in after opening this. Stopped the machine from booting correctly afterwards.
Fix mbr got it to desktop but that was just to test.

Rebuild for peace of mind.
