Anyone else received an E-mail similar to this?
I've had 5 in the past 4 days.
Email comes attached with a .zip, which no doubt contains some sort of nasty. Just a heads up.
in corporate/professional IT, "rebuilding" a machine means reimaging the hard-drive from a clean image or a fresh reinstall from scratch, depending on the situation.
My apologies, I thought you meant to rebuild a whole new Pc for a minDepends on the virus. Either way it works out cheaper for them to pay us to reimage a machine than to clean it. Why spend an hour or more messing around and hoping that you'll end up with a fully functioning machine when you can be up and running with a fresh build in half an hour? And no, we're an IT consultancy![]()
