Hi All I am using the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software and i find it to be great ,but i wondered if it is worth upgrading to the full version ?

There's no need to purchase it to get realtime scanning, sheduling and customer support.

You should use it alongside Spybot.

Both will sometimes find low threat items (cookies etc) that the other won't find.

Both should be used alongside your normal AV too because they'll find things your AV won't be looking for.

Hi thanks i just looked at Spybot and it states that Windows 7 needs administrator rights what does this mean ?

have put the full version on a customers home PC, for £20 it seems a no brainer...saying that i use the Free version along with free AVG at home, and run ad-aware every now and then.
Malware Bytes is my main tool for virus removal (obviously i use a few other bits aswell)

I had a run in with AV 2010 earlier this week, only malwarebytes never picked it up. Had to use SuperAntiVirus to get rid of it. Other than that Ive not had any problems with the free software - stick with it.
