Man, Apple are so awesome!

At the iPhone 7 launch last year the MetroCentre Apple shop were giving out Krispy Kreme doughnuts, coffee and tea. That had trolleys of them.

I suppose it makes sense to give out coffees to Apple users. They must have a large amount of disposable income to waste so they are more likely to waste their money on expensive burnt bean juice in future. I much prefer to make my own instant coffee for a fraction of the cost.

I don’t have a large amount of disposable income to waste.

You're aware that the difference in taste/quality between instant and ground is huge?

I am indeed. I did the whole "Buy a £3 coffee" every day for a while but then I realised what a rip off it was and stopped. I was spending £15+ week on caffeine, then they have pastries and sandwiches to also tempt you. I then found the delights of a nice instant such as Kenco, with a little brown sugar and Coffee Mate. I was shocked by how nice it was and how cheap and easy to make. I admit, it is nice to get the rare expensive coffee but at work, I just plump for instant now. £10 gets enough supplies for a whole month of caffeine.

I'd rather they not shaft you with a refurb phone and make you pay quite a whack for it instead of fixing the damn thing!

Still have a good product ecosystem though, and while I suppose it is a nice gesture I don't think it makes them awesome, but each to their own.
