You 'could' go and buy an Mi26 Hind, but i doubt they'd let you fly that in the UK

[edit] Looks like you can buy a lot of ex-military kit, but they probably wouldn't let you fly it here

Nah, it was the "ever" I was wondering about. Sure you could. I'm sure you could buy a fleet of them if you worked hard enough; just as anyone can.
