Ha! I've been accused of being a spammer based on that postcount.......
Anyway back on topic.......should we have a shortlist or not?
(forget about who should be on it)
When do the MoH get announced anyway?
Worst, "I'm desperate to be a man of honour" thread, ever.

I think we should, but it would be hard (very hard) to stop it from turning into a popularity contest. I'm not bothered at all by the way it works currently, but that's not to say that it couldn't work better.
@Cleec, that may be - but you've got nowhere to spam without TI&M (may she rest in peace). Also, how dare you only have one less post than me!![]()

A prepared shortlist from the moderation/Admin team, with a short explanation on why they think the person should be considered...and then a simple poll.
I agree that a freeforall would be to some extent unworkable, but a Shortlist would allow for some input from the community....
1st January. Threads started for 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2006. I couldn't find 2007 from a quick search so I'd guess it either wasn't started by Spie or it has been pruned.
I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with people nominating whoever they want but the decision is ultimately one for Spie to make.

Could work... but i think to keep Spie happy he would have to have the power to veto![]()
The problem is MoH is usually decided based on people who have contributed to the community/forum (from my understanding), making it into a poll wouldn't make it anything more then a popularity contest. This isn't High School.
