Man on sunbed?

WTF?! You have to be mentally ill to let yourself get like that.

I have heard sunbeds dry up spots which can remove them. I have been thinking of going on sunbeds for a tan, my tan has completely faded away now! :(

Nothing wrong with it, my Consultant Dermatologist had me using the sunbeds a while back to see if it helped my eczema.

It did.

You need a new consultant. Sun bed != a controlled environment. If you needed UVA or B therapy it should have been done it a hospital with special equipment that monitors your dose.

Yes sun beds will help eczema due to the Vitamin D release but it really isn't recommended.

34 years of suffering from eczema and being under top dermatology consultants teaches you a thing or too. :)

It was done under supervision at the hospital, but it was still a sunbed (or at least it looked like a sunbed anyway.

The machine hospitals use is a very different beast from a sun bed. The only real similarity is the tubes that they use to give out UVA/B.

I know as I have had many periods of light therapy for my eczema and they have to keep careful track of my exposure. :)

Yes he does, and that's what he's claiming basically.

He's misinformed. Anyway I think her just want's to bum you. :D
