Man Projects

In 1998, a South African inventor brought the Blaster car mounted flamethrower to market as a security device to defend against carjackers. It has since been discontinued, with the inventor moving on to pocket-sized self-defence flamethrowers.
It's a natural progression :)

I was going to suggest one of those. :D Made one a few years ago (however it was only about 2 ft high) and it's pretty easy, managed to throw a bit of gravel about 12 ft....:p

Not as manly as Johnny69 and his pulse jet.

But built radio controlled boats and several desks. Oh and a rocket using those model solid rocket fuel motors.
Also designed a rc plane and a computer inside a desk. But funds are a bit low to make them.

Think we should have an OcUK scrapheap challenge team.

How fast were your boats? I built one a few years ago as well out of fibreglass and an electric motor, it wasn't too fast, or particularly stable (no keel). I keep meaning to get a nitro engine and making one around that!:p

pretty slow made out of balsa wood. Although a fan powered thing with wings in the water worked pretty well till it flipped.

So a cross between a hydrofoil and hovercraft? Sounds interesting, always wanted to build a hovercraft.:D

All this is making me want to get some built, unfortunately I have the time but no money...
