ok got my tv out functioning on the 8800gts but i have not had a lot of dealings with nvidia cards, is there any way to get the nvidia drivers to treat the 2 displays as separate displays like the ati cards do.
at the moment i only get the option to clone or continuous.
on my 9800xt i could maximize a window on my tele and it would only fill my tv.
wiht the nvidia card it fills not only the tv but the monitor to, any way around this?

Try an application called Ultramon, this will also apply a task bar to the second monitor/TV aswell.

This is what I used with my Nvidia card and I think it does what you want it to do :)
