managing system power and sleep times, ect

Hi,

I want to be able to manage my systems power usage via something other than the standard power options in windows, mainly because I want my system to shut off when not in use but the normal power manager doesnt recognise bit torrent or other download apps and shuts off the pc regardless of whether they are running or not. which means I have to fiddle with power schemes when I am running such applications and I would very much like to be able to control all that from some form of application or gadget rather than trapsing through my control pannel every bloomin night.

any suggestions?

Do you simply want a button that changes two power options, or something more complex?

well, a button would do. something funkiers always good but a simple button to switch between schemes would certainly cover it.
