ManBag?!

I have a Crumpler Side Dig where I kept my netbook and papers etc. It's a Crumpler so is automatically cool and manly and it's chicken string strap serves as:

A) A Karate Belt.
B) Something to strangle nay sayers with no hope of escaping its grip.

I like my crumpler too, just don't feel right wearing it in the UK though :(

Ok - thread revival as I just got one for birthday to carry all my stuff. Aside from all the gay connotations which obviously I have had to fight my conscience over there are 2 things I need to know..

1) Are there any unspoken/unwritten rules around max age limit for such bags ? I am 49.
2) I am presuming they have to be worn across the shoulders with the bag on the hip or towards the back, not on one shoulder beneath your arm so to speak. Is this correct ?

Mine is a Fossil, brown, distressed leather messenger type bag, I hope this is acceptable and yes I carry an Ipad in it.

I thank you..

Sounds like you got just what you need and are following the correct procedures when wearing said bag.

Your're far too old :) You also need to wear your trousers no longer then your ankle and wear pumps or plimsoles. For a true effect ensure your torso is slightly visible (around the belly button) by wearing a T - Shirt slightly too small, as a finishing touch consider a home knitted and colourful, slightly frayed cardigan.

With his user name I'd expect him to be carrying binoculars, a picnic rug & some toffees.

..I'm right though, across the shoulders at all times right ?

I'm find I'm naturally tending to push it round to the back as well as it offers some protection to my batty from unwelcomed attention.. :D
