Manfrotto 190XDB Tripod + 390RC2 Head

Does anyone own this tripod/head combo?

I'm thinking of buying it, have found some pretty good prices. Just wondered if anyone had any horror stories, or recommendations... It's for my 400D + Grip + 17-70mm + 70-210mm Sigmas.

Not quite; I have the 190 XproB whicgh is very similar and is pretty robust and stable, and the 804RC2 head.

The tripod works fine with the 30D, 17-70 and 70-200 so the one you're speccing should be pretty well matched to your kit.

I'm afraid I have no experience of the head, though.
