True but then I purposefully walk into beautiful people.

Try working in a supermarket, so many customers would sooner ram their trolly into you, than say excuse me
However I find people generally are okay, but I do find it irritating that people don't pay attention to others. That is just rude to me. Worse are people walking engrossed in their phones, who walk into you and then blame you!that said 0 cares given.

It's the same with some people when driving. Most people around here 40 years older or more will put their hand up to say thanks if you let them out or give way when there's a obstruction. People under thast age seem to either just barge their way through or completely ignore you. It cost's nothing to say thanks.
Not being funny but it's moreso your own fault if someone is looking down at their phone, walking in a straight line and you (with your head up) manage to walk into them.

Manners cost nothing. However some people don't even have bad manners, they are just ignorant. It's a shame. But life's too short to get wound up on other people's failures as being decent human beings, just shrug it off and continue being a good person, as it will pay it forward in the end. A smile and a wave to whoever may make them behave slightly better towards the next person etc,,,
Manners maketh the man. They cost nothing, etc.
I too hate rude or just ignorant fools. Next time try slamming the door in their face.
I usually do this too but I say "You're welcome."
I do have to laugh when someone is talking about manners and then corrects a simple autocorrect error. Personally, I would also consider that bad manners.![]()
My biggest pet peeve is holding a door open with people not even acknowledging you or saying thanks.
I would love to ask those people why they don't feel there is a need to say thanks? Do they not see it as being rude?!
Why do you feel a need to hold the door open?
Wasn't there that thread the other day which was pretty much the opposite of this thread, with people saying that being polite when there is no gain makes you look weak.
