If you win the title, will you finally appreciate what it means, or will you all go back to being the cocky, arrogant, glory hunters that we all detested for so long?

Just asking as i really want Manu to win the title, anybody but Chelsea tbh, but not at the risk of bringing back the horrible stereotypical Manure fan of the late 90's which is what Chelsea fans are now becoming themselves.

6pts, and us next, so you'll probably have no worries there to keep the run going.

Hope you do it, and hope you appreciate it this time round.

Good luck (apart from the next game)

how could current fans "go back" to being glory hunters?

Getting one over on Chelsea will be one of the main plus's if we manage it :)

We deserve to win it as its ours etc..

That kind of arrogant crap am talking about.

More humble the average manu fan these days though, much easier to get on with.

I just hope, its a good celebration if it happens, and a true appreciation of what being the division champions is all about (not that I would know much about that like, but i can dream)

Not all Man Utd fans are cocky and arrogant. I'm not, nor am I a glory hunter. I appreciate the hard work a team has to do to win the Premiership. If we win it this season, it will be more special than previous wins because of Chelsea and their arrogance, and the fact they've a billionaire who is willing to throw as much money as it takes in order to win trophies.

Ferguson has his faults, but Mourinho takes it to a new level, the amount of drivel he has come out with recently. And disrespecting other teams, basically claiming wins before they even play them, Ferguson has and never will do that. Managers in the Premiership respect Ferguson a lot more than they do with Mourinho.

No one has a divine right to win the Premiership, each season there are the obvious contenders. If anyone is showing arrogance to who should win, it's coming from the Chelsea camp and Mourinho.

The arrogance Chelsea are showing now is only a fraction of what Manu and its fans have shown over the last decade.

But it is the reason i want manu to win the EPL this season (chelsea arrogance) I'd have preferred Arsenal, but they've been so far away from winning it since Paddy V left, they barely come into consideration as title winners.

No one has the divine right? Very true, but not what 90% of manu fans thought not so many years ago, and not what Chelsea fans certainly though at the start of this season.

I have always appreciated how hard it is to win the premiership title, but now as chelsea have become a force over the last 3 seasons, I can obviously appreciate it more now, as this season we have worked very very hard to try and take the title away from them
Not all Man Utd fans are as you describe, im not arrogrant, and i dont think the title "belongs" at old trafford, it belongs to whoever wins it at the end of any premiership season.

I really hope we win it this year, i Hate Chelsea :D

Well you can put me into the other 10%. ;)

This season has been excellent, and now we are starting to see the mind games starting between Ferguson and Mourinho. I know who is winning the mind games. hehe :D

I used to be a massive Man Utd fan, used to see them 6 times a season and when I was younger my bedroom had loads of posters, and had the entire squad of them little hand painted model things

I then lost intrest in football when Man Utd won the champions league (go sheringham!) and only watched them a bit

Now I dont watch them at all, I lost all respect for Man utd and there fans as they have got one of the biggest cheats in football, and everyone has forgave him, Man utd and there fans no longer have any self respect

Sorry mate, but that's absolute ********. Yes, there have been arrogant United fans - but that's been the same for every successful team.

I guess you must get around quite a bit to know at least 90% of Man U fans!!

No swearing

Gilly

agreed

The arrogant cocky MU fans were the ones who didnt have to wait for god knows how many years until we won the league again

You never hear Liverpool fans talking about 18 times do you and they havent had a sniff of it for how long?

I will be cocky and arrogant if we win it this year like i was the last time we won it :)

I dontlike being the neutrals favourites, i prefer it when you all hate us

How can you be a massive Man Utd fan then stop supporting them after 1999? Sounds like the definition of a fickle gloryhunter to me.

I think you ask any true Man Utd supporter who followed them for longer than the Premier League and not the average kid then you'll find we've always appreciated what it means, but then, so do all teams who win it.

I've just had to sell my ticket for St James' on Monday, still getting over an infection I picked up on Christmas Day (oh joy) and last thing I want is to be coughing, spluttering, aching and not enjoying myself :(.

Cheating? Sorry, don't know what you're talking about. I don't see anymore from him than I do any other team in the English Premiership, infact, probably less so from him than any other high profile players tagged with that label. He's not even the worst inside Man Utd.

I hate all other teams. Man Utd are the only true Fottballing giant in the English Premier League, FACT !

all others are poor imitations of the great Manchester Untied.

gloryhunter? I support Spurs now thanks, I lost intrest in football at the time, not too sure why, I was a massive Yorke and Sheringham fan, watched Man utd now and then after 1999, but missed most of their games

Ronaldo has been cheating since day one he joined the premiership, he has to be the biggest diver iv seen since Ginola, doign what he done to the worldcup against a county that HE plays football in is a total insult

what you said just proved my point..... no self respect
