Manual Internet Setup - BT Router

Hi,

What is the easiest way to set up an Internet connection with a BT router (Voyager I think, free issue about 4 months ago) without using the BT installation disc and installing all of the BT software?

Step by Step guide would be great and much appreciated!

Get drivers for the modem, then it's just a dial up connection with 0,38 as the number (or possibly just anything).
You'll need the username and password too, but you should have that.

Alternatively, get a router and forget dialling up.

WHat Voyager is it ?

If it is a 210 or 2091 or 2110 and you are connecting to it via ethernet then no need to install anything from the CD just plug in the relevant cables to the router and connect the other end of the ethernet cable to your machine and then open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1 and on the screen that comes up you should have 2 boxes one for your username and the other for password. Once you have entered the correct details click on the button called Connect and you that should be you done and online.
