Manual Laptop Fan Control

Hi guys... is there a program available for free that will let me adjust my fan speeds... apparently, my laptop is running at 82C and the fans not even on full...

P.S.. tried "Speedfan" but it does not detect the fan so I can't adjust its speed?

can you not adjust settings in BIOS?

If it's a Dell you could try the software below, used it on one of my old Dells.

Just a heads up, you might want to consider taking the laptop apart and cleaning the fans. I have seen umpteen laptops kill themselves through overheating because of a blocked up heat sink.

Thanks for all info... its a HP laptop... i'll try fiddling in BIOS to see if it can run at nearly full tilt constantly... its at 73 ish just on Safari :|
