Which do you use? and why?

I use a manual, but I'm wondering how much better an electric toothbrush cleans.

Electric, less effort needed to get the job done and find it gives easier access into the gaps.

I've got one of those Braun Oral-B Triumph brushes and replaced the battery the other day so had to use a manual toothbrush while it was charging overnight. The electric cleans my teeth so much better than a manual. You can really feel the difference after brushing.

Yeah electric is so much better, people have awful manual technique so electric avoids this problem.

Electric, but don't get complacent. Having an electric toothbrush doesn't automatically mean your whole mouth gets cleaned, you still have to put some effort in.

Electric, have done for years and the quality of clean is much better than manual cleaning.

Same 'ere. Had a £15 electric which lasted for about 8 months. Apart from that, manual, so I voted manual.

Sonicare and it is really nice can definitely feel a difference afterwards. Would recommend

I can't see much difference in cleaning between the £8 battery powered oral-b and the £80.

Electric.

I can feel the difference after brushing my teeth. Cleans them much better.
Had my Oral-B Triumph for over 3 years but the battery is starting to go, so will need to get a new one before long.
