Theres something about a physical one. Now I've seen a great one. I wonder how much one would cost to make, as thats far to expensive for me, ii wonder if you could pull crystals off and replace them with coloured ones for places I've been.

A bit too 'blingy'.

Maybe one with LEDs in or a pixel map and you hook it up via bluetooth to an App/computer and then you can change the colours of each pixel/area as required.
You can then setup profiles for different people or have a business/personal one. One with places you want to go and one where you've been, or different colours.

edit: the cool thing with google instead of a wall map is you can make it as detailed or simple as you like.
