So it happens that i need to access remote files directly. No servers/ftp/http, etc...

Is there any way to map a share on a remote machine as a drive over WAN ?
Something like remote C: to map as X: locally ?

A bit compicated to explain simply...

Computer A remotely controls computer B that has needed software to open files on computer C. Computer A can view and control computer B in realtime.

Complication here is twofold
1. Software cannot be moved from B to A
2. Files cannot be moved from C to B. ("cannot" doesnt mean "restricted/disallowed". This is just a logistics consideration. )

I use Teamviewer to access my remote (home) machine to work with files at the office i work at but lack software to do so locally.

All this here is legal, no foul play, just a logistics problem to be solved.
What i want to achieve is to cut out a "man in the middle" that is email at this moment...

I open my software at home while at work, open file that is located on shared drive on file server (pfff, not really, just locally shared folder), do my stuff and save it back to "fileserver"... (this is ideal scenario)...

Not really sure how to explain it any clearer...

I know... A bit ass backwards, but unless i spend near 4 grand (again) this is not going away.

#EDIT1# Something like NetDrive ? but opensource or free ?
